Wednesday Open Thread

Welcome to your Wednesday open thread. It’s hump day! You know what to do.

Quiz time! Who said this? (The first commenter to guess correctly gets an attaboy or attagirl).

Obama has produced his birth certificate. There were announcements that ran in two contemporaneous Hawaiian newspapers at the time. The head of the Hawaiian medical records has announced, ‘I have seen the long form you all want.’ I don’t know why the long form is considered more credible than the short form. They’re both from the same office. The State Department accepts the short form or as we call it, the birth certificate.

Yes, we are still talking about this crap and I guess we will be until the Trump boomlet is over.

Yesterday was the 5th anniversary of RomneyCare in Massachusetts. Romney was silent but Massachusetts Democrats held a party to thank Romney for health care reform.

There was a big fancy cake, streamers and balloons – all to thank Governor Mitt Romney for his role in expanding health care access in Massachusetts – for signing the 2006 law, mandating coverage.

The party hosts? The state —Democratic—- party – lead by Chairman John Walsh who said, “We’ve all known to celebrate Mitt’s positions while they last, if we agree with him, because you never know what’s going to happen next. Today we join with him in that pride.

Leave it to Republicans to run away from their own accomplishments. BTW, we’re still waiting to hear the fancy new Republican idea for health care reform. Yeah, I’m not holding my breath.

sounds great if you make enough money to be able to save for your retirement.
