Wednesday Open Thread

Welcome to your Wednesday open thread. I’m busy, so I’m counting on you to tell me what’s going on.

Just popping my head in here but hahahahaha Newt Gingrich. Also, I weep for humanity, Ben Stein edition.

AND, more hahahahahahahaha Newt Gingrich:

Love this guy who steps up to make his (great) point in such an unforgettable way. The whacko who escorted him out was seriously creepy though — “You never see *us* disrupting your events”….WTF? History is filled with his kind of people disrupting gay and gay-friendly events! Hope that this becomes a trend — every time Newtie shows up, throw glitter!

    Love it.

There are only two people in America who can now restore dignity and legitimacy to the Republican party: President Obama, and Harry Reid.

And I wouldn’t put it past them, based on their track record. We have had the Republicans on the ropes before, and we pulled our punches while they caught their breath, and invited them back into the process.

There are indications Reid will hold the Senate vote on the Ryan budget next week… we’ll see.

    Seeing Newt flinch……. Priceless!

Like the progressive insurance commercial says, glitter and unicorns. Loving it.

  5. X Stryker says:

The Republican position on terrorism and civil rights is that you can torture a suspected terrorist but you can’t prevent him from buying an AK-47 in an American gun store.

  6. Dana Garrett says:

Did you hear Newtie’s apology to Paul Ryan. How pathetic. What a sad wimpy person.

When does the betting start? You could send all proceeds to the Food Bank or Habitat. Do a block pool! And Paul doesn’t count, I mean, Rand Paul doesn’t count. Daniels v. Pawlenty v. Perry.
A good deal of money for charity can be made between now and then. Its not about trivializing the process, its about making the process actually give assistance to the people for once.
