Dan Pfeiffer Gets Grilled At Netroots Nation

Filed in National by on June 19, 2011

Netroots Nation is happening this weekend in Minneapolis, where Dan Pfeiffer came to spend an hour (or so) in front of this audience to answer questions from Kalli Joy Gray. A number of the questions she asked came from online viewers and twitter.

A few of the questions are silly, but this is a very tough interview. As I was watching this, I kept thinking that if politicians and their reps had to submit to *this* kind of questioning on a regular basis, I’d rethink the banishing of TV from my house. I think that Kalli did a great job, and to be fair, I think that Pfeiffer acquitted himself pretty well under this kind of fire. Watch if you can:

I read many blog posts about Netroots and how unprogressive these so called progressives really are. They claimed there were many more “brown” people at the conference. But when asked to take a stand re: Israel and Palestine…they refused. Has AIPAC taken over netroots too?
