I’d like to direct this to the empty-headed nit wits who use the News Journal’s editorial page to promote the lie that Republicans and Democrats in Congress are all alike.  

Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla., said the following about a Republican colleague.

Incredulously, the gentleman from Florida, who represents thousands of Medicare beneficiaries, as do I, is supportive of a plan that would increase costs for Medicare beneficiaries … unbelievable from a member from South Florida

The Associated Press reports the emailed response from tea party freshman Rep. Allen West, R-Fla.

You are the most vile, unprofessional, and despicable member of the US House of Representatives. If you have something to say to me, stop being a coward and say it to my face, otherwise, shut the heck up. Focus on your own congressional district. You have proven repeatedly that you are not a Lady, therefore, shall not be afforded due respect from me!

His subject line: “Unprofessional and Inappropriate Sophomoric Behavior from Wasserman-Schultz.”

    And why the email? Shouldn’t Col. Dbag have actuaaly been in the House? If he was actually “doing the people’s work” the remark would have been to his face.

    DWS’ response to the teabag freak-out was pretty good.

    “Well, I have to tell you I was unfazed by his e-mail. It’s not surprising that given the pressure that the Republicans are facing,” said Wasserman Schultz. “I mean, they’re defending ending Medicare as we know it. Congressman West represents thousands of senior citizens, which is what I was pointing out, and they would face significant increased costs due to the Republicans’ Medicare plan and the Cut, Cap and Balance Bill.

    “So it’s not really surprising that he would crack under the pressure of having to defend that.”

    2) pointing out that the crazy guy wants to end Medicare.
