Rose Izzo is Running.

Filed in National by on October 12, 2011

And it looks like she has the full support of David Anderson and the teabag idiots downstate. Indeed, Anderson refers to her as the only conservative in the race for the Republican nomination to challenge John Carney. I really wonder what Tom Kovach ever did to the teabaggers. He talks a good game and appeared at all the rallies. I suppose no one from New Castle County is welcome in the Delaware Republican Party when the teabaggers are in control. But then again, as Frank Knotts points out on Delaware Hatred, Sussex County bigots will not like Rose Izzo because she has an accent. A New York accent. And I also think Rose lives in New Castle County.

How dare she.

This is interesting. The DE GOP is so weakened that it can’t even give a good soldier like Kovach a clear shot at a fairly weak first term John Carney.

If Izzo beats Kovach in a primary I don’t think you could really call the Delaware GOP a legitimate political party.

We are all lucky that down state rules

  3. Geezer says:

She couldn’t defeat her own dog in a primary. She’s dumb even for a conservative, has no money and no platform. She’s Christine O’Donnell without the looks or the years of toiling in the pro-life movement to build a base of support. She’s a vanity candidate who makes Mike Protack seem popular.

  4. Jason330 says:

    Possible Campaign slogans for Izzo:

“Like O’Donnell, but with less resume!”

    “25% More Less Government!”

  5. liberalgeek says:

Her sock puppets don’t even support her!

I like her accent. I could listen to her read the phone book. Actually I would rather listen to her read the phone book.

  7. 6thDist.Dem says:

I feel bad that Kovach will even have to deal with this.

  8. Free Market Democrat says:

I look forward to her next yardsale/fundraiser. I need a new blender.

  9. Rose Izzo had four signs in her yard after the primary–three for R’s running in Pennsylvania, and one for Bryon Short. I’m not making this up.

Her upside is about 200 votes statewide.

    Dog bites man.

  10. I don’t think Kovach has to worry about her. He will probably ignore her.
