Republican Weekend Sightings?

Filed in National by on October 17, 2011

I have to admit that I am surprised by how lack luster the DE GOP looks under the direction of Sig Sigler. Maybe it is some kind of rope-a-dope, but unless I’m missing something, they still have nobody running against Markell, Denn, Carper or KWS. That’s crazy.

I was out and about this weekend at places where you’d expect to see some GOP loser gland-handing and giving the “I Haven’t announced yet..” wink and saw nada.

Has anyone seen anyone out and about?

  1. Delaware Dem says:

Didn’t I hear that some downstate nut was going to run for IC? Bodenweiser perhaps?

And remember Jason, we have Kevin Wade to contend with for Senate! Kevin Wade!

  2. Jason330 says:

Smooth like Suede, Kevin Wade. How could I forget about that guy?

  3. JustSomeGuy says:

George ‘Memorable (BUT NEVER GAY!) Marriages” Parish would be the downstate nut in question:)

  4. MJ says:

I’d love to see Georgie Boy run for IC – his term is up as Clerk of the Piece, I mean Peace.

  5. Aoine says:

Don’t forget Van Houten may run for IC as well… not that he will get far

  6. Glen Urkle’s anti-Carper super PAC and his De Voice piece today are clues.

  7. Jason330 says:

I saw that Carper will be able to pretend to be the Democrat in the race. *sigh*

  8. skippertee says:

I want to vomit every time I think about pulling the lever for Tommy the Carpetbagger, the DINO from Virginia.

  9. mediawatch says:

If the R’s had any intellectual honesty, they’d give their gubernatorial nomination to Markell. And they might as well nominate Carper for Senate too.
Put both of them where they belong.

Interesting idea. I’ve toyed with the notion of registering as a Republican in order to attend their events. Maybe I’ll do it and put those names forward. (?)
