Gallup finds that Americans widely support President Obama’s decision to withdraw all U.S. troops from Iraq by the end of the year, with 75% approving. That includes the vast majority of Democrats and independents. Republicans are split.

Lewes Mayor Jim Ford tells WGMD that he will not run for a new 6th Senate District downstate.

If Herman Cain’s poll numbers do collapse because he is a sexually harrassing asshole (and I don’t think they will because Republicans love sexually harrassing assholes), then Newt Gingrich is the next flavor.

Fun factoid, I and a million or so co members of the National Association of Realtors are being charged a mandatory “Public Policy fee” fee of 40 bucks. The stated purpose is NON ID’D Political advertising. For the mathematically challenged That’s 40 MILLION DOLLARS! Extrapolate that out to similar Association’s it could easily reach a BILLION! This is a nice deal for the 1% to steal the money from the 99% to protect their interests.

The good people of Boulder, CO overwhelmingly passed Ballot Question 2H on Tuesday. It was known as the Amendment to Abolish Corporate Personhood. “Shall the people of the city of Boulder, Colorado call for reclaiming democracy from the corrupting effects of corporate influence by amending the United States Constitution to establish that (1) Only human beings and not corporations are entitled to constitutional rights; and (2) Money is not speech, and therefore regulating political contributions and spending is not equivalent to limiting political speech.
