Republican Assholery Entering the National Zeitgeist

Filed in National by on January 5, 2012

It is one thing for lefty bloggers and political nerds to be tuned into what a bunch of f*cking a-holes Republicans are, but it is another thing for that awareness to become a part of the nation’s chit chat. That’s
why this, from “TheSuperficial” (one of my guilty pleasures), is so uplifting:

And now for the part of the day where I create an anger in you so deep, mole creatures are left homeless in its wake. (I’ll make it up to you, Jordan Bratman. I promise.) Via Us Magazine:

“I’m involved in my products every step of the way. My fragrances are doing really well at the moment,” Hilton tells FHM UK’s January issue. “They’ve produced more than $1.3 billion in revenue since 2005.”
“I have 35 stores and 17 product lines. And then there’s my racing team, my 14 fragrances and my new project, the Paris Hilton Beach Club chain. The first one is opening in the Philippines soon. It’s going to have nightclubs, restaurants, bars, gyms. Everything really.”

And now for the part where I create an anger in Republicans so deep, yadda yadda mole creatures… Democrats want to tax the shit out of Paris Hilton.

Enjoy your second term, Mr. President.

Emphasis added.

“Democrats want to tax the shit out of Paris Hilton.”

Nice, but what is the evidence for this statement?

  2. socialistic ben says:

but think how many jobs she’s creating!!!! Paris Hilton is just the kind of idiot to fire 300 people because her CFO says the new taxes make keeping them on unaffordable. Ever think that the Robber Barrons are so evil they would make layoffs out of spite if their taxes went up?

oh well. the cynicism is deep.

  4. puck says:

Well, in that case then MOST Americans, Republicans included, want to raise taxes on the rich.

Hear that Senator Coons? Raising taxes on the rich is bipartisan! Right up your alley!

She is a blow job creator, that we know for sure.

Delaware’s #3 finisher for 2011 Progressive MVP Beau Biden gets a head start on 2012 by supporting CFPB and the Cordray appointment. Still no word from Carper or Coons.

  7. socialistic ben says:

they’re waiting for permission from Mike Castle

  8. Jason330 says:

The comment from Biden is because WDEL actually asked him the question. Maybe WDEL and the News Journal don’t have contact info for Coons or Carper?

  9. Jason330 says:

Do you know who else should be asked about this? Tom Kovach. I know he is running for the house and not the Senate, but someone should give him the chance to get his teabag on.

Here’s another job-creating lady who needs some heavy taxation – Tiger Woods’s ex-wife just tore down her brand new $12 million house to put up a bigger one. Check out the before pic.

  11. auntie dem says:

Hey, sometimes you just don’t want to live in the same house you planned to share with the ex. I can understand that. Or, the floorplan just didn’t work out the way you planned. When you’re part of the 1% you can change your mind. And think of all the jobs.

  12. puck says:

She bought the house after the divorce, and it is ten minutes from Tiger’s house. So the “bad memories” excuse is crossed off the list. Go figure.
