South Carolina Primary Predictions

My best guess is that Newt beats Romney by 7 points.

Gingrich: 38%

Romney: 31%

Paul: 14%

Santorum: 12%

Consider this… If Romney loses tonight, Mr. Inevitable will be 1 for 3.

  1. I think it will be Gingrich by 10%. Late deciders seem to be going Gingrich. Order: Gingrich, Romney, Paul, Santorum. One question is how much Cain/Colbert gets. 5%? More?

The next few weeks should be interesting. PPP said in their last poll in FL, Romney led by 15%, but has lost 14% nationally since then. Gingrich could win FL, but the next states are Romney states, Maine (New England), Michigan (his father was governor) and Nevada (large Mormon population).

I need moar popcorn for this primary. Whoever emerges, whether Romney or Gingrich, is going to be incredibly damaged.

Wow, what a load! From a psychiatrist, with a pitch at the end! Indeed, it is incredible. The (il)logic is dizzying. Using it, we can conclude that we should elect Charlie sheen, due to the long line of fawning dim-witted women spending time with him. OMG what a bald-faced hack..he should be disciplined by the medical board for that letter.

37% to 31% to 15% to 14% Gingrich, Romney and the other two.

I still think Romney will win in S.C. and eventually win the Republican nomination….and then lose to Obama in the general.

Exactly right. A man with three wives cares more about self than others. This doesn’t make one strong.

We don’t want a president who cares little about about how their actions damage others.

I’m going for Romney to win in SC in a squeaker.

  8. pBaumbach

    Romney by more than 5%

Gingrich by double digits….goes on to win Florida, the nomination, and then a whopping 200 electoral votes in the General.

  10. Joe Cass

    Romney by 3%

  11. Gingrich goes on to win the nomination, and loses 58% to 40% in the General. Obama gets 350+ electoral votes.
