Christine O’Donnell Wants Some Attention

Filed in National by on February 14, 2012

I missed this over the weekend, as I was busy with family events and real world work sidetracked me yesterday. But the wonderful gathering of hatred, ignorance and arrogance known as CPAC was held in Washington this past weekend, and of course, Delaware’s own original wingnut theocrat Christine O’Donnell was in attendance. You remember that she sold herself out and endorsed Romney, don’t you?

Well now she expects some payback, Mitt, for all she has given you. She took it upon herself to inform the New York magazine that she would consider serving in a Mitt Romney administration.

“I have to continue to help Governor Romney in any way that I can. Whether or not I would actually work in the administration depends, again, on what role, on what capacity, and what else was going on in my own career at the time.”

O’Donnell also told Politico that conservative voters should side with Romney over former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum in the Republican presidential primaries because “Senator Santorum’s fiscal record is more liberal and than Governor Romney’s social record.” Whatever that means. It must really gall Christine this morning as she realizes she is no longer the darling of the theofascist conservative movement, as Rick Santorum has taken that mantle and is jumping into the lead in every poll, in both national or state polls.

It is really ironic. Christine O’Donnell sold out her principles to endorse a man who has none.

And now she will be left with nothing. Which is why she told New York Magazine that the “door is open” to another run for office.

She had no principles to sell out.

Look up grifter in the dictionary and you’ll find a photo of COD.

So glad she would make herself available. Every Administration needs folks with no experience at doing anything at all. Anyone ever figured out what she does for a living? What a complete fool.

It is impossible to imagine what O’Donnell thinks she is qualified to do.

    …on what capacity…

Okay, that isn’t a second item. Capacity and role are the same thing right? So maybe she wants to head up the department of redundant ramblings.

…and what else was going on in my own career at the time.”

Just let that sentence ring in your ears for a second and try not to laugh.

Perhaps the Federal Elections Commission needs a file clerk.

Even her inevitable next run for office isn’t going to go well. As she should have learned from the “plop” from the toilet bowl that greeted her memoir, she herself was never the darling of the movement she thinks. I visit lots of conservative sites, and saw fund-raising ads at nearly all of them. The ads were pitched not to sell Christine O’Donnell but to demonize Mike Castle. Without a RINO to run against, Christine has nothing to raise money on.

She would never survive a Senate confirmation hearing, much less a vote.

  8. mediawatch says:

MJ, you’re giving her far too much credit. She would never survive a job interview.

I can see her as Secretary of the Occult.
