The Loving Story

An HBO documentary called “The Loving Story” premieres tonight at 9 pm.

In 1998, in South Carolina, 30% of the voters still favored the ban on inter-racial marriage. This year, this freaking year, in 2012, 20% of Republican primary voters in South Carolina…. TWENTY FUCKING PERCENT … still favor the ban on interracial marriage.

And those are the ones who answered honestly.

I have said it before and I will say it again: I am intolerant of the intolerant. And when I see poll numbers like those above, I really do have to restrain myself so as I do not become violently intolerant of the intolerant.
