Yet again, I raise an objection to the flagrant discrimination toward lower Delawareans shown by the unfairly repetitive scheduling of Drinking Liberally in the northern portions of the State.
I’m sorry, reis! May I point out that our last event was in Rehoboth. You should be calling us to task on not holding events. 😉 Promise we’ll do one downstate in a few months.
“one”, pandora? May I remind you that the geographical complexion of DL is at least 50% comprised of citizens below the Canal. And, in addition, though we may not be as intelligent as the northern posters, we are certainly cuter. Plus, if we have too much to drink, if the location is at the beach, we can avail ourselves of MJ’s open invitation to crash at his house any time.
reis, I think you misread Pandora. She said our last event was in Rehoboth. We haven’t had an event since. Chances are our next even will be down South. Two or three events is probably how we operate.

I’ll be there. And why aren’t we the official Drinking Liberally organizers? Are there official Drinking Liberally organizers in DE? I know there once was somebody in Newark, but I think they have dropped off the planet.
I think it’s because the national organization wanted to have Drinking Liberally in one location all the time which doesn’t work for Delaware.

May I point out, downstaters, that Liberal Geek, Jason330, Cassandra M., Nemski, and Unstable Isotope all drove to Rehoboth to attend Drinking Liberally and drove back the same night. I attended, as well, but that may not count since I was already down there. So… stop your belly aching and come on up!
It’s a well-know fact that driving from New Castle County to Sussex is twice as many miles as going from Sussex County to New Castle. At least, that’s what I take from hearing all the northerners I know bitch & moan about having to come to Georgetown and Millsboro and Laurel for stuff. Rehoboth is the only place they don’t complain about having to visit.
But anyway, us southerners have a much larger alcohol tolerance than you Philadelphia-wannabe wimps, so we’ll be able to drive back south even partly sloshed. I’ve been told so by some folks in Leg Hall who are experts on the subject.
