    many memories of going to the restaurant that was on the corner there as a kid. I think they had really good beer cheese soup? 🙂 It’s been bugging me all morning trying to remember the name. What was it?

    Honestly, back in the 70’s–I think it was the first introduction for all of us to “gourmet burgers”–they were big and you picked 2 toppings, salad bar w/ every meal, AND, that French Onion soup. Funny now, how that once “unique” menu seems so ubiquitous now.
