There’s a new rising star in the Democratic Party, whether Jack Markell likes it or not.
Someone posed the question to me after I wrote one of the DeLuca articles: “Do you ever get frustrated because things don’t seem to change?”
The answer was yes. But not even the concerted efforts of the Delaware Way insiders could stop an inspired candidate like Bryan Townsend.
And talk about a twofer: We GET Bryan Townsend, and we GET RID of Tony DeLuca!
And Townsend is beholden to no one. Townsend will be a name in Democratic politics for years.
Anyome know where townsend’s victory party is?
This is my only bright spot tonight!

Speaking of Markell. Perhaps Townsend can ask him where all that pathway and trail money went?

A credible candidate in Evan Queitsch vs a naive 30 year old lawyer you lives with parents. Tough choice. I would rather see someone who lives in the real world Queitsch)rather than someone who has almost no bills to pay (Townsend). He may be a nice kid, but what good will that do?
So who takes the reins in the Senate? Blevins?
The next Senate Pro Tem should be Karen Peterson. The people of this state DESERVE someone in that position who is characterized by unquestionable integrity.
Blevins is the most likely.
I’d rather vote for someone who’s planted campaign lackeys bother to/ know how to spell check (obviously, not quack)
John T, you are simply, quite simply, insane. Evan is not credible as a candidate. He is credible as a Christine O’Donnell thug, which is the only thing he is qualified for.

You may want to ask Gov. Jack why he refused to vocally and publicly support/advocate for Mitch Crane (the party endorsed candidate)even one tenth as much as he vouched for DeLuca. Answer, he can control KWS and feed his insurance company and banker friends.
