Governor Markell in New Hampshire today [Updated]

Filed in Delaware by on October 19, 2012

… campaigning for President Obama, and not for himself in 2016. Although… you never know.

He started out the day very early (5:45 am) at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, and then at 7:45 was at the Nashua UPS depot. At 8:45 am, he was at the Nashua First Student School Bus Depository. I imagine at each location he was greeting Shipyard, UPS and School District employees reporting to work or leaving their shifts. That’s some good ole politicking with coffee and donuts.

The rest of the Governor’s day will be spent visiting with and energizing campaign volunteers and staff for the Democratic candidates in New Hampshire, including the President. He will be at the Laconia Phone Bank at 11, the Conway Obama for America office at 2 pm and the Berlin Obama for America office at 3:30ish.

Traveling and speaking with the Governor today are the former Massachusetts Treasurer Shannon O’Brien who somehow lost to Mitt Romney in 2002, former New Hampshire Congressman Paul Hodes, Newton, MA Mayor Setti Warren, Massachusetts Auditor Suzanne Bump and Chris Wall, the Death Cab for Cutie guitarist.

We will pass on any video we get of his remarks today.

[UPDATE]: Here’s a pic with Gov. Markell with Chris Wall and Auditor Bump

What a total waste, the three of them but epecially the grinning toothpick. Guitarist for “who”? and Jack Mackeral, just another Politician. I’m sure Jack will gain valuable insight which will somehow improve the life of every Delawarean, think I’ll go back to reading about Eric B. it’s equally amusing. No wait, Michael Vick had a tire in Berlin, now that’s a true headline.
