Do I give to the DNC this year?
I haven’t given to the DNC or the D triple C in ages. The emails are as full of feisty bluster as their candiates have been full of Republicanism. I don’t know now though. If we really have a shot at 37 districts, I may have to see if I could scrounge up a little dough for the cause.
I wanted to give you an update on this email that we sent a few weeks ago, Jason330.
The poll we described below has been updated, and it now shows Democrats leading in 37 districts. And remember, we need to win 17 seats to take back the House, elect a Democratic Speaker, and give President Obama a Congress he can work with.
We have a real shot to do just that — but we need to keep at it.

I’ve been wondering the same thing, Jason. For the past few years I’ve given to individual candidates… I’m reevaluating.
I will not give to the DNC until they reform the primary process.
I will give to the DTrip. The way all Dems stuck together during the Shutdown battle was impressive. I want Nancy back as Speaker. So I will donate to make that happen and give to individual House candidates. I only give to the DNC in presidential years.

Is there a way to contribute to the DNC without ending up with both the electronic and physical spam that results from contributions? Local candidates normally do not spam you but once you are on the national guys list it’s never ending.
So true. That’s why I don’t give to WHYY anymore. The mailings were relentless.
LOL! I’ve set up a “spam” email. Whenever I donate or order from a company I use this email. That way, my personal email doesn’t fill up with junk.
Also, if you’re using gmail… use the “Important/Not Important” feature.
there’s an unsubscribe button… if they have your money I don’t think they’ll be too offended by that.
