Vice President Joe Biden joked Thursday at the National Urban League conference that he wished he had a child who grew up to be a Republican.
“I should have one Republican kid who’d grow up to make money,” Biden said, according to a clip of his speech from Cincinnati NBC affiliate WLWT. “You know, so when they put me in a home, I get a window with a view. You know what I mean?”
Biden quickly pointed out that his daughter is a social worker and graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.
A guy with a gold-plated retirement, and a son who is mobbed up with Ukranian gas interests shouldn’t be pulling out this lame shit. Especially since modern Republicans are moronic dunderheads not the cagey business men Biden takes them to be.
If modern Republicans are moronic dunderheads, perhaps Joe Biden’s speechwriters figured they’d give him the same benefit of the doubt that they do for their Cincinnati-area representative, Speaker John Boehner, and their junior Senator Rob Portman…
