A lot of people thought that Commissioner Goodell didn’t suspend Ray Rice for long enough initially, but, when the next video surfaced, he got it right. I don’t see much purpose in firing the commissioner.
Of course, that’s a decision for the owners: they’re the ones who employ him.
He “got it right” after the video went public. The video was sent to the NFL months ago.
This is the same NFL that claimed for years that the evidence was still out on head injuries.
