John Carney supports corporate lobbyist written TPP

A Freedom of Information Act lawsuit has extracted emails between corporate lobbyists and US Trade Rep officials working on the secretive, corrupt Trans Pacific Partnership treaty.

No one is allowed to know what’s in TPP … But of course, America’s top corporate lobbyists not only got to see TPP, they helped to write it.

That our congressional delegation supports this is a sickening. That they support it so transparently and, I have to say…proudly, is a atrocious.

Writing them and calling their offices accomplishes nothing. I guess I can only NOT vote for Carney for Governor, so I guess that means I have to hold my nose and vote for Gordon.

    From the linked article:

But in a setback for the White House, two undecided Democrats — Reps. John Carney (Del.) and Cedric Richmond (La.) — said this week that they’re leaning no.

“I’ve got a whole set of criteria as it relates to Delaware, and there are a number of things that they’re just not there yet on,” Carney said.

It is unusual to see Carney rattling his cage like that. But I have no doubt he will vote the wrong way in the end.

He dodged the question in a FB Q&A, but I thought he seemed to be leaning to yes. I stand corrected.

I wonder if this is one of those rare times where it might be productive to call Carney and let him know you oppose TPP and fast track. It sounds like the message might be getting through.

I’d call Carney if I could come up with a call script that wasn’t the same mundane bullshit.

“If Congressman Carney votes for Fast track and TPP I will write his name in the book of the cursed, and and persuade everyone I know to NOT vote for him for Governor. ”

    I’m just spitballin’
