Are Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski totally in the tank for Trump?

Filed in National by on February 22, 2016

Listen to this audio obtained by comedian and radio host Harry Shearer. It starts around the 20 minute mark. If the chummy ass kissing of Trump doesn’t make you sick, just wait for the part when Trump asks for “easy questions”, and gets them.

    Yes.

(They were also in the tank for Christie. They’ve been quite open about their personal friendships with Trump and Christie.)

  2. Mitch Crane says:

I watch the show every morning. Yes, they fawn over Trump, because he calls in frequently, massaging their large egos.

The best days to watch “Morning Joe” are the days neither Joe nor Mika are there.

Did anyone truly believe Joe Scarborough was HL Mencken incarnate? It’s a cable news morning program with a name that’s a clever play on words and sponsored by a national coffee franchise. It’s a fucking joke. How is this a revelation?

I won’t even get started about Mika B else my comment will be screen captured and cached and posted for an internet shaming. (I’m a closeted sexist.) I’m presume you all can sum two and two. Sort out her problems on your own.

Here’s a news flash. Joe Scarborough and Donald Trump are in the same business. They are both ostensibly quote-moderate Republicans-unquote, faux-politicians and New York City based TV personalities that historically have floated across the liberal/conservative divide on the American TV and other screens. Also, Chris Matthews is “in the tank” for Mrs Clinton, but I suppose Harry Shearer (who I like and met once) doesn’t care so much about that. She wears the kit of the proper team, so.

Isn’t he Ned Flanders and Mr. Burns?

  5. mouse says:

I’ve always thought Mika was kind of hot. Is that sexist too?

  6. Dorian Gray says:

Yes. And also has given some genius performances in Christopher Guest films. ‘For Your Consideration’ in particular was very underrated in my opinion. Additionally, he is a fairly decent player of both the electric and stand-up bass.

I’m not commenting on Ms Brzezinski.

You are not a closeted sexist, Dorian. Maybe an equal opportunity offender, but not a sexist. I’ve met, and love!, your wife. No way that amazing, smart, funny, strong woman would be with you if you were a sexist. You might be a work in progress. 🙂 I don’t know, but I’m sure Ms. Gray (don’t want to name names!) does.

  8. Dorian Gray says:

I was being facetious in trying to make a secondary point. Would an actually closeted sexist say so? I don’t know.

  9. Dorian Gray says:

    Apology unnecessary… 🙂

  10. Ben says:

Oh, Dorian. I have to VIOLENTLY disagree on “For your consideration”. I understand all the characters were supposed to be sad an pathetic, and I was really excited to finally get to see it when I did, but I think they just took it way too far. Like Waiting for Guffman with more cringing. I much prefer Best in Show…. and of course… The Tap.

And here’s the evidence. Trump, “Make us all look good. Nothing too hard, Mika” Mika, “Okay”

It’s an embarrassing love fest after MSNBC spent Friday saying they weren’t in the tank with Trump.

The veneer of journalistic independence and integrity has long been virtually invisible. Trump isn’t the media’s first idol and he won’t be the last.
