Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) said Monday he asked national communications director Rick Tyler to resign after he tweeted a fake video that seemed to show Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) insulting the Bible.
This seems to be a common tactic in Jesusland. It reminds me of Elizabeth Dole’s ad in 2008 with a photo of her opponent Kay Hagan with a voiceover from a Hagan voice impersonator saying “There is no God!” Dole didn’t need to fire anybody because she lost shortly after.
