In this week’s address, the President discussed his upcoming visit to the South by Southwest festival in Austin, Texas, where he will participate in a conversation about civic engagement in the 21st century and how we can use technology to tackle our toughest challenges.


In his weekly message, Governor Markell highlights the phenomenal work being done by educators in the STEM fields to better prepare their students for successful futures.


This week, the President traveled to Florida, presented the Medal of Honor, met with some Scouts, welcomed the Crimson Tide to the White House and traveled to Brew City.


Last week, the President hosted governors from across the nation for dinner and discussion, announced plans to close the detention facility at Guantanamo Bay, hosted the King of Jordan, paid tribute to Ray Charles, and held a panel discussion on one of the most exciting frontiers in science – precision medicine.
