Got me some 1/2 priced surf shop flip flops, 1/2 price pair of shorts and a 5 dollar old small door at the Rehoboth sidewalk sale!

  2. Alby says:

Look at the names on the JFC. Not a single intelligent, independent thinker among them (Melanie George is intelligent but not independent; a couple are independent but not intelligent). It’s almost as if they’ve been chosen to act as a rubber stamp.

  3. mouse says:

Can’t have non compliant folk on the JFC

  4. Jason330 says:

Those Medicaid cuts are going to effect the poors, so no biggie.

  5. Alby says:

I should have made special mention of Brian Bushweller, the turd that floats no matter how many times you flush.

  6. The Speaker chooses the House members. Members who don’t genuflect before the Speaker don’t get chosen. Same holds true in the Senate.

  7. RE Vanella says:

So I’m at the music festival Saturday and a friend of mine who is also a News Journal reporter notices Governor Carney wander by. Since my mate was on the job he did the professional thing. He walked over, introduced himself and began an interview. Since I was not on the job I did my own thing.

I believe Anders Osborne was on. The music was ripping. Our intrepid journo was leaning into the Governor and the Governor was leaning into him. I presume this was to ensure they could hear each other over the music volume. I walked over and stuck my head in between theirs. Then I said:

Why don’t you ask him when he’s going to take a stand on something!

Apparently, as I walked away, I got a very dirty look. Great success!

    Epilogue:

    The subsequent article noted this:

“Gov. John Carney was one of only a handful of attendees not wearing a Grateful Dead shirt. He dropped by early and didn’t have a particular band he was itching to see but said the ‘totally cool’ event and others like it bolster the city’s reputation.”

How strong. How decisive. Governor Squidward will not be pinned down on any issue, regardless of its significance!

  8. Blackflyer says:

When I read that the House passed repeal of the inheritance tax, it felt like a kick in the stomach.

  9. Ben says:

RE, I very likely saw your friend/ possibly you talking to Carney during Anders’ set. I was enjoying some delicious Painted Stave thinking about talking to Governor Dino, then decided to drink more. It was a good call.
    also, wasnt Dr John awesome?!

  10. RE Vanella says:

I liked the entire line up. Very strong. This is why the crowd was so good. I hope this is a regular annual event.

Dr John was very good. Although he didn’t include Tipitina in his set! (Never forget Professor Longhair, peace be upon him.)

Chris Robinson’s band was better than I expected. Bromberg’s Big Band lived up to expectations. Heavy hitters. Four piece horn line, fiddle, mandolin… quality.

  11. Alby says:

Sorry, pal. You don’t come into someone else’s place, piss on the rug and then tell them to shut up.

    You need to fuck off.

  12. Stephen says:

Haha, you guys are so weak when it comes to debate. You might be able to ban and block people from your Comments section, but you can’t ban and block people from the ballot box. You guys are so dumb! I love it!

  13. alby says:

I can’t speak for others, but I’m not interested in debating assholes like you, and I don’t think anyone else here is, either. Debating is for chumps.

You’re right, we can’t block people from voting. That’s what your team does.

  14. Liberal Follower says:

Ivanka? The Saudis gave pay off money to the Clinton Foundation yet liberal weenies say nothing. Ivanka ? At least that money will help women. Hillary destroyed women

  15. mouse says:

Might want to google the impacts related to deficiency of moral and intellectual development ^^

  16. RE Vanella says:

The Clinton Foundation has been subject to significant transparent audits. A+ no issues. Factual.

You can come here and parrot Hannityesqe conjured tropes, but we will laugh at you. I’m laughing right now.

Remember, politics always ebbs and flows. One day you’re up the next you’re down. But you’ll always be a rube.

  17. mouse says:

    Nah ha !

  18. alby says:

Thanks for reminding us that the Trump Foundation scam will help put the rest of the Trump family in jail with him.

  19. mouse says:

Isn’t 4.5 million exempted from the estate tax in DE? So they only pay the rich man percentage on dollars over 4.5 million? How do they justify this with a huge deficit? Makes no sense

  20. john kowalko says:

Actually it’s over $5.45 million and all exempt if your leaving it to your spouse.
    Rep. Kowalko

  21. mouse says:

Cool, thanks! Wish we had some reps like you down here!
