Scumbag Trump Friend Resigns Once Business Scam Is Exposed.  He’ll still, of course, reap millions by cashing out.  Guess who his business exploited? Trump/Kushner tactics everywhere.

Dog Bites Man. Trump Won’t Testify To Congress Under Oath.  His decision is absolutely 100% final.

McConnell Pushing Stealth Obamacare Repeal.  When the history of this country is recounted by knowledgeable historians, McConnell will go down as an anti-democratic traitor.

Trump Looking To Can Mueller? Some R’s Speak Out in Opposition. Of course, it’s a Politico piece, so only a select few R’s are quoted. And two of them are McCain and Graham, the two biggest ‘talk loudly, but carry no stick’ R’s on the Hill.

Wilmington Tourism Agency On JFC Chopping Block.  Cuts like these will lead to a spiraling-down of jobs.  And visitors.  Carney’s failure to get involved beyond genuflecting before a mathematical formula is malpractice. BTW, WDEL’s news coverage now at least rivals that of the News-Journal.

You’re the Greatest.  No, You’re the Greatest. No, Mr. President, You’re the Greatest By Far! Just your typical, publicly recorded, Trump cabinet meeting.

“When the history of this country is recounted by knowledgeable historians, McConnell will go down as an anti-democratic traitor.” The victors write the history. You better make sure the Republicans don’t win, then…

“the myth of the Lost Cause.” is promulgated by victorious white southerners. “Victorious”, you say, “they lost the war”, yes but under Andrew Johnson and others, they “won” the peace, threw out the black political class, and terrorized everyone else into submission. Ergo, the myth of the Lost Cause.

Sussex Anon, freedom means the press ignores that rule and steps it up. McConnell has done us the favor of letting us know the press is doing its job.

Paul is correct. White supremacists were victorious. They lost the war but won Reconstruction.

    I just had a laugh.

    Dig this bit:

“Mr. Trump, angered by reports in Breitbart News and other conservative news media that Mr. Mueller was close to James B. Comey, the F.B.I. director he had fired, repeatedly brought up the political and legal implications of firing someone he viewed as incapable of an impartial investigation.”

    Res ipsa loquitur.

    This is sharp:

“For Mr. Trump, the line between whim and will is always thin. It is often erased in moments of anger, when simmering grievance boils over into rash action, exemplified by the firing of Mr. Comey after a weekend of brooding at his resort in Bedminster, N.J.”

If you don’t pay for the Times you really should.
