    The idea of Joe announcing certainly has its seductive side. Once he announces, the law of unintended consequences takes a role in any outcome. Joe is a great broad-brush guy, painting word pictures regular folks can hear. We could do a lot worse, like the little guy in Ohio who criticizes Nancy Pelosi because she isn’t Republican light enough.

    If he had run against Trump in the general, we’d have president Biden right now.
