Meet Laura Sturgeon, Candidate For State Senate
Laura Sturgeon will host a meet-and-greet tomorrow, Wednesday, July 19, from 5:30 to 8 pm at Six Paupers, 7465 Lancaster Pike in Hockessin.
She is challenging incumbent Greg Lavelle, a most deserving target indeed, in the 4th Senatorial District. Come find out what she’s all about tomorrow night.
After all, if you’ve read this blog for any time whatsoever, you already know what Greg Lavelle is all about. Which is why we need to join together to defeat him.
All I need to know is that Lavelle is in favor of curbing wages vis-a-vis “Right to Work”
Can you post a picture of her. I cast vote on level of attractiveness
@arthur: You first.

she looks like that woman who used to work for wjbr or wstw or one of those. I’ll pass
I would HOPE that those comments are meant to be ironic.
You’ve seen his comments before. He sounds like an old cheapskate. I always get a laugh when a guy checks out a woman out of his league and pronounces her unworthy.
Even if these comments are meant to be ironic, they’re still utterly disgusting.
oh, please, Joshua w. pick your fights over something bigger than this (there are plenty of them). way to overreact.
not that I haven’t done the same over other things.
Oh please, all your self righteous BS. You’ve never judged someone by their looks – like a girlfriend or spouse? Please.
Look at the Dewey town manager. You can tell looking at him he’s a creep and I wouldn’t hire him because of the way he looks
You’re judging someone’s fitness for office based on the way they look. It sucked when Donald Trump did it. It sucks when you do it.
One thing the internet doesn’t protect us from–the immaturity of the people who post stuff. Price of free speech, I guess. But, if I were you, I’d be embarrassed.
She’s unelectable.
I took Arthur’s initial comment to be tongue-in-cheek. guess it wasn’t.
That’s the reality that women still contend with in 2017. Probably more so, actually, in 2017 as men like Arthur feel their male privilege slipping away.
And he’s a fat geezer with thinning hair. He is ugly, and therefore his opinion is worthless.
(Am I doing this right?)
Um, no. Equating the value of someone’s intellect based on looks is not doing it right.
Of course, I have to look myself in the mirror every day, so…
Seriously, though, this isn’t funny. Let’s get back on topic, please.
I will unfortunately miss this because I’ll be at Delaware Shakespeare’s. ‘Henry 5’
So… reports are most welcome
Does eliminating prevailing wage look at lowering any managerial or CEO’s take?
