No offense intended, but you have to check out (if you haven’t already done so) RT’s “1952 Vincent Black Lightning,” performed at the 2012 Americana Music Awards. It’s on YouTube. Del McCoury recorded it a few years ago as well, and introduced the song to a whole new audience. Del’s version doesn’t hold a candle to the original, though.
