My musical sweet spot is indeed the Sweet Soul Music of the 1960’s and early ’70’s. The soundtrack to my life. To this day, I never tire of hearing those great songs. Oh, and singing them.
While Curtis Mayfield would go on to create some of the most important music of the Civil Rights era, this was where I first fell in love with him and the Impressions:
