We live in a country that indulges in a lot of pomp and celebration around veterans both dead and alive. If you've gone to any major league baseball game, or NFL contest in the past ten years you know what I'm talking about. Celebrating veterans and waving the flag is a national pastime. Funding veterans programs, helping combat vets with PTSD...not so much. We like the idea of veterans, not the bum veterans grubbing for services.

If anyone thinks Trump is going to announce that he thinks climate change is real, you need your head examined. Additionally, if you think Jarrod Kushner is going to pay a price for his treason, you really have a screw loose. Now get out in the fresh air and enjoy this weekend.

The best mark in a con is the kind who doesn't believe they've been conned, even when the con is revealed. Either they are so embarrassed that it's easier just to double down on the delusion or they're that fucking stupid. And, in the end, it doesn't matter because they'll line up to be fleeced again.

Basically the ad says that, thanks to the Court of Chancery’s decision in the TransPerfect case, a decision necessitated b/c the two key TransPerfect officials just couldn’t get along, Delaware will lose its pre-eminent status for incorporations? It’s part of a $500,000 (!) campaign to influence Delaware legislators. Well, so far the score is one who has been influenced (Bonini) and two who have turned thumbs down (Simpson and Lavelle). When a so-called pro-business PAC loses the R Senate leadership, it has lost Delaware. Maybe they should spend the $500 K to send the two feuding officers to counseling.
