PBS just aired a 2017 concert of the Moody Blues playing the whole album “Days of Future Passed” with a full orchestra. Those guys are still damn good. But I was grooving along to the opening of Nights in White Satin when it was interrupted by a raucous and insistent National Weather Service warning, which was then repeated for every goddam county in New Jersey and Delaware, and blotted out the remainder of the song.
