One of the leading advocates/apologists for the Iraq War is reportedly replacing Gen. H. R. McMaster, who Trump has just fired. John Bolton’s unique combination of idiocy and bloodlust is absolutely terrifying. And he’s about to become Trump’s National Security Advisor, a position that I don’t believe requires Senate confirmation. The negative synergy that he and Trump can develop is, IMHO, an existential threat to our country. My only hope? He can’t get a security clearance.

This is more terrible news for the country. Bolton is a straight up nut.
Bolton is scary….most of the military guys actually know the costs and ravages of war .These academic theorists like Bolton are idealogues who beat the war drum all the time.
When he turned up to the UN as the new ambassador (recess appointment if memory serves) he stepped out of the car and even people on the upper east side heckled him. Boooo. Motherfucker… boo.
