Jose Matthews wins Red Clay Seat – Indian River Comes in Last

Filed in National by on May 9, 2018

Via the NJ:

Red Clay’s Jose Matthews earned the most votes of any race, with 1,009 cast votes. His race against Joseph DiMichele had the highest turnout.

One incumbent was unseated, Richard Schiller lost in a Colonial School Board race to Ronnie Williams by 96 votes.

For the one-year term of the Indian River School District #5, not many voters came out. Derek E. Cathell won with 95 votes to Carla M. Ziegler’s 27.

C’mon Indian River, that’s pitiful.

Indian River: More like typical. Suspect the turnout was the result of the lack of an all out prayer in school candidate.
