I’m back to tussling with fellow Democrats over the question of who is to blame for poor Democratic turnout at the polls, and lackluster performance by Dem majorities in the state legislature. Is it the voters with Democratic sympathies who don’t show up, or the lackluster “leadership” of the Democratic Party that is the hobbling factor?
Recent history speaks loudly on this topic, but there are still (somehow) Dems around that blame the D’s losses on the crowds in the stands for not cheering on their mediocre team loudly enough.
If Democratic leaning voters just cheered on the mediocrity loud enough, somehow things would change.
