I hate it when you do the blues in the morning because it’s nighttime music for me. I won’t be able to appreciate this until 9 p.m. at the earliest, and I won’t really dig it until about midnight, when Albert is reminding me to remember my waitress and telling me the band will be back after a short break.
Saw him at the Chestnut Cabaret. He had the longest…extension cord in the business. Left the club and serenaded down Chestnut with the audience in tow. A great live performer.
Sometimes I prepare them in advance. Sometimes I just try to come up with something in the morning. Maybe I’ll devote one weekly set to post-midnight blues jams.

So my modest proposal, El Som, is that you post blues songs of the day at midnight, or 12:01. Nighttime is the right time.
