All the musicians in the Jazzopators were members of Duke Ellington’s Orchestra. Ellington plays piano here, with Cootie Williams on trumpet, Juan Tizol, who wrote the song, on trombone, Bigard on clarinet, Harry Carney on baritone sax, Billy Taylor on bass, and Sonny Greer on drums.
