NOT BREAKING: Elderly Patrician Democrat is a Horrible Human
Dianne Feinstein is a bad person. She always has been.
WASHINGTON – Sen. Dianne Feinstein is under fire after video shows her arguing with children who visited her office in hopes of swaying her vote on climate change legislation.
The children were with the Sunrise Movement, a climate advocacy organization, and approached Feinstein in hopes she would support the Green New Deal, an ambitious proposal from Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez that includes an overhaul of U.S. energy that seeks to stall the effects of climate change.
“I’ve been doing this for 30 years. I know what I’m doing,” the California Democrat told a young girl at one point while debating with the group.
Just wait till we organize something like this at LBR’s office. Say for Medicare for all. 🙂

If you check Sen. Feinstein’s record you’ll find that her progressive credentials don’t extend past being LGBT-friendly. She’s a big-time war profiteer, for example, and I have no doubt that she’ll be a roadblock in trying to grapple with climate change.
Given that her 84-year-old ass will be long gone when the climate shit hits the fan, I’m going to guess that the average 15-year-old has a better perspective on the future of the planet than a decrepit war-monger does.

At this past September’s Democratic Sussex picnic I happened to be walking back to my car when I overheard Carper responding to criticism from a young activist. It was not pretty. Tom’s response was dismissive, patronizing, and frankly indicative that his interpersonal skills with his base were few to non-existent. I sensed that she felt disrespected by his words, a bad thing to do to the people on your side. Too much time being wined, dined, and told how wonderful he is by the lying piranha in the lobbies of Congress.
Yeah, the democrats are all in on symbolic social and sexual issues but quietly stand with the republicans on most else of substance.
