I just re-read the letter Eisenhower prepared in case D-Day failed. He takes full responsibility. Eisenhower was a man in full. He was a member of a generation that saved the world from fascism. The children of that generation thanked their parents by declaring war on the future.
Climate chaos, global oligarchies, student debt bubbles, unaffordable housing, deindustrialization, elimination of worker protections and defined-benefits pensions, deconstruction of public services, etc. Fuck it. If it feels good – do it.

Agreed, we Boomers failed and then reveled in it, the world will be a better place when we are gone. We managed to forget all that made our parents great and then amplified what was wrong in the first place.
The world will most certainty be a worse place when the Boomers are gone. They’ve worked very hard to ensure that.
