Trump is done. Whatever Dem wins the nomination is going to win the election easily.

With Texas and Arizona in the  “toss-up” column, and Trump losing to every Dem in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Ohio, Trump is a dead man walking.

And yet, the press is still covering the race as if Trump is a normal President running for re-election.  This is just bad, lazy journalism.  Josh Marshall gets it:

(T)he political nation is in a collective state of denial about the depths of the President’s unpopularity and his uphill challenge seeking reelection. The denial isn’t based on nothing. The 2016 outcome was a shocking as well as a calamitous result, one based on significant albeit sometimes overstated polling misses in the key states of Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin. Still, it’s warped our collective understanding of just what’s happening in the 2020 cycle.

    • For most effect, do those things in nearby Pa. Delaware is already blue, Pennsylvania remains purple.

There is so many political reporters in DC alone that they have to keep something going. We have to take the US SENATE more so then the W/H. With Trump at the top we can clean-up. And that’s just what we have to do.

Fool me once shame on you fool me twice…

In 2016 I was almost positive he wouldn’t win. I was probably 99% sure. Just a little niggling feeling that I was too confident. After 2016, I take nothing for granted. He will win, unless everyone works their butt off for the Democratic Party candidate.

I think I’ll continue to remain pessimistic for the time being.

  3. Biden, Sanders, Warren, Harris, and Buttigieg all beating Trump in Florida.

Good advice , the lightning of evil can indeed strike twice and I don’t trust polls or pollsters. Keep on fighting until it’s flushed and gone, hopefully to prison.
