Lisa Blunt Rochester would like you to know that she envisions a bipartisan solution to the border crisis

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congresswoman Lisa Blunt Rochester joined with her colleagues in voting to pass H.R. 3401 as amended by the Senate, providing much-needed emergency funding for the humanitarian crisis at the border.

“While I am disappointed that the House version of the emergency funding bill will not be enacted, the humanitarian crisis on our Southern Border necessitates immediate action and this bill accomplishes that. My priority is ensuring that children under the care of the United States government are safe and appropriately cared for – this vote reflects that priority,” said Congresswoman Blunt Rochester. “As I said when the House passed our version of the emergency funding bill earlier this week, money alone will not solve this problem. It is time for the Senate to begin working with us on comprehensive immigration reform.

SO Cute!

Can I ask someone from LBR’s staff a serious question? Who are these press releases for? Who is the audience?

I know you are reading this. Just email me or reply here. I’m wondering what her silence on all of Trump’s malfeasance and all this other communication is all about. Help me out here. I am a constituent after all.

  2. Wow! She ‘joined with her colleagues’!

    Now THAT’s leadership!
