Blood From El Paso Killings Is All Over Trump’s Hands And Mouth. The quote from the El Paso County Sheriff says it all. This asshole came to El Paso to slaughter Latinos. Our ‘President’ has ginned up all of this resentment.  The Rethuglican Party is now the party that supports slaughtering Latinos. Beto O’Rourke gets it right. So does Mayor Pete. Oh, and there’s yet another mass shooting in Dayton, OH. Law-abiding citizens will soon rally to oppose any more gun controls. In Lewes, Dave McBride is getting ready to go to the beach, then later, maybe play a round of golf with an NRA lobbyist.

Meanwhile, Trump Wages All-Out War Against–Government Whistleblowers. In Trumpworld, there’s no distinction between whistleblowers and journalists. They are both enemies.

Delaware’s Double-Dipping Legislators.  Here’s one I didn’t know: “…while Reps. Jeff Spiegelman, a Clayton Republican, and Andria Bennett, a Democrat from Dover, are adjunct instructors at Delaware Technical Community College.” Seriously, WTF could they possibly teach? Just another example of Mark Brainard buying votes for giveaways to Del-Tech. Bill Bush probably engineered this.

Planned Parenthood’s Identity Crisis.  Me? I know they can walk and chew gum at the same time, but it’s a matter of degrees.

ICE Detainees Pepper-Sprayed At Louisiana Prison. For protesting. Just another day in Trump’s America.

El Paso County Sheriff is spot on that we need accountability at every level of government. No matter who is running, no matter what the office, if you claim to want to represent me on a local state or national level I want you on the record in favor of common-sense gun control.

A couple of thoughts on the double dipping issue:
I’m glad the article points out that the State Auditor is supposed to be checking this but has failed to complete the testing citing incomplete information. It’s been that way for quite a while.
In the report that AOA McGuiness commissioned recently it fails to mention that, although it manages to catalog quite a few other required reports that haven’t been happening.

Also, adjunct professors are usually pretty low paid. I’d be interested to know what they teach and for how much.

    • El Somnambulo says:

They’re not adjunct professors, they’re adjunct ‘instructors’. Probably ‘teaching’ government.

In the second mass shooting in less than 14 hours, at least nine people are dead and more than two dozen wounded after someone opened fire in downtown Dayton, Ohio, early Sunday, according to police.

Whaley said the shooter was carrying a .223-caliber rifle, wore armor and had additional high-capacity magazines with him.

John Carney should call a Special Session of the General Assembly to consider the gun control bills. Force the senators in a public setting to either take action or to punt in the full view of the public. Require McBride, Poore, Walsh, Cloutier, and Delcollo to show their true colors.

C’mon, John, you can do this!

  5. El Somnambulo says:

Well, he CAN. Doesn’t mean he will…

  6. Alby says:

Failure to ban such weapons, at this point, means lawmakers’ heads are in the sand. Given the blood-red makeup of Sussex County, do they really believe “it can’t happen here”?

    • El Somnambulo says:

Not only that, but there are so many Latino workers there making money for ‘the man’. What could possibly go wrong?
