Punidtry vs Reality – Debate “winners”

SCOTT LEMIEUX at LGM points out that the pundit consensus was that Biden “won” the debate. But that consensus is a departure from the consensus of actual voters. (Actual voters warmed to Warren and Buttigieg and cooled to Biden.).

And how did Biden win? By rebranding the campaign as “Lay off Poor Joe”  So now we’ve seen:

• >  > > Biden is the lovable underdog….(I feel like I’ve seen this progression before and the next level is…)
• > > > Clap harder & accept Biden or you love TRUMP!!!

• > > > > > > > Nobody could have predicted this.
