Trump was electable because he is to the right of Biden. Biden is electable because he is not to the left of Biden. Everyone to the left of Biden is suffering from unelectability.
It is astonishing but some people are still pulling down big punditry bucks with this type of analysis. I mean, I wish I had no shame and could sell nonsense like this to nymag.com

Blue Delaware loves Liz Warren
They learned from the debacle. They may be the only people in all of centrist politics that learned anything from it.
The trouble with this “electability” BS is that you’re not going to know whether someone is electable until after the votes are counted.
Absolutely insane.
Think of every other time you’ve voted — whether it’s for student council president or Delaware Today’s “Best of Delaware”: you vote for who you want to win, not who you think will win.
The more people think,the stupider they get.
The most electable person in 2020 is the only one who’s won a presidential election, Donald Trump.
So if Democrats want the most electable person, they’re for Trump.
