AG’s Office Ends ‘Walks’ On DUI Arrests In Sussex County. Worked around the incompetent and possibly corrupt Sussex Court Of Common Pleas. John Atkins breaks out in a cold sweat in 3-2-1…
Clever ‘Carrot And Stick’ In Impeachment Package: Trump has plenty of due process rights…unless he stonewalls.
Mitch McConnell Is In Deep Doo-Doo. Just check out these poll results. Not even underwater, but on the ocean floor while wearing cement shoes. Kentuckians support Trump, but hate McConnell.
The Worst Environmental And Economic Racism In The Country. Louisiana keeps dumping toxic factories into Cancer Alley. Kinda like the way Carney dumps plants into Southbridge.
Coming Next Week: The Stone Trial! Barr redacted a whole lotta Stone info from the Mueller report. This should be a fun diversion.
California Will Never Be What It Once Was. Yep, climate change.
What do you want to talk about?
Rudy has had a really quiet year this past week. I recall one of our dear magat men saying “the boys were over the target” (because it was the talking point phrase of the day) … just wondering how operation Dumbo drop was going…. Alphabet bros?
Lmao
Coming on here and doing a “talking point phrase of the day” doesn’t have entertainment value for me. Baseless prognosticating is what I’m into.
For instance ,right now, I think the Dems and Trump Administration are heading into a “Mexican standoff” situation, and it’s going to be enjoyable watching the media struggle with the term, “Mexican standoff”.
Discrimination lawsuit filed against the Insurance Commissioner’s office and several of its employees, including ex-employee Mitch Crane:

Sadly Moscow Mitch has been in the ditch with big negative numbers and little approval before, and yet he prevails. This looks worse then usual, but don’t count your defeated monsters before they hatch. Spoke at length with my brother out in California, concurs that the area is arid and that the winds are insane this year, essentially the fire is blowing everywhere at this point.
“California Will Never Be What It Once Was.”
Property values can collapse, insurance companies can go bancrupt and summer can last into late October and we’ll be the last country on Earth to acknowledge climate change. Bad for quarterly earnings, you know.
Actually, insurance companies going bankrupt would be enough to get their attention. It’s always the money, and without insurance funds keeping hundreds of billions in the stock market its prices would collapse. Basically, it would be bad for quarterly earnings.
In California, the problem isn’t global warming so much as its public utility paying more attention to its bottom line than its decrepit power grid.

Bernie is the only candidate calling for public ownership of the grid.

My brother is a conservative, albeit a rational one, he backs public ownership of PG&E. He’s had enough of their games as well. Do you blame him? For once I do not.
You can remind him that sometimes socialism is the best solution to monopoly capitalism.
News about the lodging tax and the Turf https://twitter.com/MatthewCBittle/status/1189952158386536448
That’s progress, I suppose.
“Sen. Trey Paradee is urging Levy Court to postpone a vote on the controversial Kent lodging tax measure scheduled for next week until the General Assembly reconvenes in January. He says he plans to file a bill directing the revenue to the county rather than the DE Turf.”
In other news, a car thief returned the vehicle and told the owner he hoped they could just forget the whole thing happened.
Maybe , just maybe, press and blog attention to this forced the retreat. If so, I’m happy to have played a small part in it.
Man, this non-denial denial from Trey Paradee is laughable. Trey as victim:
