If Trump promises to quit and go back to being a reality TV character, I promise to watch every episode and buy lots of stuff from the show’s advertisers.

    No. He should host a new show from a supermax. He could manipulate a group of former administration officials and congresspersons. And he gets to decide the fate of someone each week. However, saying “you’re fired” may not work in this new context the way we have come to expect.
