      Can you imagine how many endangered R legislators will beg him NOT to come?

      I mean, Kentucky and Louisiana. I guess he’ll have to relegate his appearances to Mississippi now. After all, he didn’t even help the Rethug nominee in that Senate Special Election in Alabama.

    The cool part is that there are vulnerable Republican Senators (Collins and McSally come to mind) who, for political reasons, should be released to vote YES on impeachment, since it won’t have the votes to convict and remove.

    But Trump is a dipshit and will think any Republican YES vote is “disloyal” hence smear the vulnerable Republican Senator.

    Lose lose scenario for these senators. If they vote NO (in Trump’s favor) they may get the Bevin/Rispone treatment. You absolutely love to see it ….

      Released or not, they would be fools not to vote “Yes.” Trump is no idiot, he knows that if he loses McSally and Collins (and anyone else who’s endangered) he could lose the Senate to the Dems. He’ll rant and rave, which will give those endangered senators the chance to claim their independence chops. It’s not lose, lose, it’s win-win for them.

        No way in hell. The braying Fox News zombies (Turnip included) would be enraged and ensure that they lose by huge margins. They are screwed. Lose/lose does not do it justice. Electoral catastrophe/apocalypse, is closer.

    Prolife, Progun Democrat governor in the deep south. He actually signed a “heartbeat” bill into law. Trump has zero chance of losing Louisiana. Or Kentucky.
