    Why didn’t you press him on running against Purzycki. The field is wide open and he would win this time.

    Good question.

    I’m more interested in how he (in collaboration with Network and others) are training armies of candidates and organizers. It’s more important.

    All these great challengers knocking doors today probably didn’t simply materialize. We have a factory. It has already trained up election winners. It will continue to do this. This is a better way to use limited resources. I believe Eugene agrees with me.

    Just a choice really. Even if you say “he will win” (which isn’t some foregone conclusion) it would probably mean six to ten potential candidates aren’t trained properly. And a mayor Young administration would just be in constant loggerheads with real estate interests.
