Everything Falls Apart, Ctd.   A really bad day in the US.  Updated carnage: 164,610 cases, 3170 deaths. The number of cases is way below the real total because of the ongoing lack of testing.  We’ll likely have close to 10,000 deaths by Sunday. Feds send wrong masks to Illinois.

Trump Blows Up Auto Mileage Standards Under Cover Of Coronavirus Darkness.   Because Obama, I guess.

The Trumpian Cornavirus Deniers:  Fla. Trump Tells The Truth: If It’s Easier To Vote, Rethugs Lose.  I can’t recall a time during my adult life when voter suppression wasn’t a key part of their playbook. It’s all that keeps them in office.

We Paid To Develop These Low-Cost Ventilators—that are now being sold overseas.  Capitalism uber alles.

Amazon Workers Walk Out To Protest Conditions–Leader Gets Fired.  Amazon is evil. We all know why Carny won’t shut them down during the pandemic. Hell, we’re paying them for their evility.

Tested For Coronavirus? In Delaware, You’ll Have To Wait About A Week For Results.  BTW, no matter what Trump says, you can’t get a test just b/c you want it.

Loved that they arrested that pastor in Florida, they need to arrest a couple of hundred other fools playing the same game, especially when their “flocks” start to die like the old white flies they are. Believe Falwell Jr.’s college has 17 cases of the Virus, suspect that’s the start. How typical of the far right are the virus deniers? Always pretending to be the big, tough man, always being anything but.

While there is some schadenfreude around the croaking of these Trumpist virus deniers, they are putting both deniers and normal people at risk with their stupidity.

Anecdotally, it seems rather arbitrary what is allowed to be open and what is not. It’s almost as though some types of open businesses lobbied to stay open rather than being essential

I saw this on DEOnline “Coronavirus anxiety is boosting medical marijuana sales in some states, but not Delaware”

Well no kidding. We’re OK with everyone drinking themselves silly and stocking up on lead and brass while stuck at home, but we’ll be damned if we’ll let them calm their nerves in any other way. Seriously, between DE Doctors not wanting to get involved with medical cannabis and the user having to be all but on death’s doorstep to qualify for a card, big surprise there’s no uptick. Once my kids are grown and out of the house, PAC Northwest, or DC, here I come! Now, anyone holding? Asking for a friend…..

    • My youngest daughter lives in Portland, OR. Marijuana shops are considered essential businesses there. It sure would help if our governor had inhaled somewhere along the line.
