I’m Thanking Jess Scarane Today – You Should Too

You need to thank Jess Scarane today with some bucks. Thank her for smoking out the complete fraud that is Coons.

You may have noticed that Coons is pretending to be a progressive hero all of a sudden. Yup. He is now (kinda) in favor of getting rid of the filibuster when just months ago he organized a letter from his bipartisan shithead friends which promised (yes Promised) to keep the filibuster and thereby give Mitch McConnell veto power over any Democratic initiatives after the next election.

He is also pretending to be on the side of the poultry workers, which is a joke because he is raking in big bucks from the law firm out to destroy that union.

Jess Scarane is running a tough campaign under tough circumstances. I’m putting in a few more buck today and urge you to donate as well.

Song of the Day 6/30: David Bowie, “I’m Afraid of Americans”

Filed in Arts and Entertainment, National by on June 30, 2020 2 Comments

The European Union has banned tourists from the United States because of our nation’s inability to get a handle on its COVID-19 pandemic, making fear of Americans an official policy. Frankly, given some citizens’ quick resort to firearms during any disagreement, I think fear of Americans is an entirely rational default setting, virus or no […]

Trump Can’t Escape Bounty Debacle, Instead Stands By Putin.  Did he know in February?  Or was it in 2019?  Can ‘He doesn’t read’ really be a defense for abdicating perhaps his most sacred responsibility as President?  Trump had better hope that none of the parents of the soldiers killed in Afghanistan speak out publicly.  Trump’s […]

Trump was briefed on Putin’s ‘Cash for American Kills’ Program – He just ignored the briefing

It is not news that Trump is a despicable person and an imbecile. The newsworthy part of this is that Anthony Delcollo and Mike Ramone are still big Trump supporters.

BREAKING: Rep. Quin Johnson Not Running For Reelection

Filed in Delaware, Featured by on June 29, 2020 9 Comments

As usual, Matt Bittle of the Delaware State News had it first.  He was one of the more Chamber-centric D’s in the House Democratic  caucus, and he consistently opposed minimum wage increases.  Having said that, longtime DL follower Joanne Christian has praised Quin’s constituent service work.  The 8th RD is a Middletown-based district, and has […]

Randy Rainbow dropped this timely public-service message this morning. It’s a simple message, but too many simpletons are resisting it.

Police Unions Are The Enemy.  They thwart reform at every turn.  ‘I Can’t Breathe’. 70 cases, the same three words.  Utterly compelling. Report: Trump’s Psyche ‘Fragile’. Could Drop Out.  Maybe that’s why Pence has started to wear a mask.  He would become the first robot to run for President, which is why he didn’t need […]

Song of the Day 6/28: Neil Young, “White Line”

Filed in Arts and Entertainment by on June 28, 2020 3 Comments

Neil Young’s deep vault of unreleased material is legendary, but one important tranche is unreleased no longer: This week Young finally released his 1975 LP “Homegrown” in its entirety. Several of its songs appeared on Young’s later releases — “White Line” surfaced in 1990 on the “Ragged Glory” album, “Love Is a Rose” on “Decade” […]

How many ways can you say “We’re totally fucked” ?

Our “economy” is so screwed. The World Economic Forum interviewed 347 risk analysts about the challenges the world could face in a post-COVID world. The experts weighed in on economic, societal, geopolitical, tech, and environmental risks (basically, a STEEP analysis). The four most likely threats are prolonged global recession at 68.6%, more bankruptcies/consolidation at 56.8%, […]

It’s Official. Russia Offered Bounties For The Killing Of US Troops In Afghanistan.  The Administration knew about it for months. Biden gets it right. What passes for Trump’s defense? This: In a statement late Saturday Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe said he had “confirmed that neither the President nor the Vice President were ever […]

Ignorance isn’t a defense, but I suppose it passes for a defense in the eyes of his idiot base.
