Trump was briefed on Putin’s ‘Cash for American Kills’ Program – He just ignored the briefing

Filed in National by on June 30, 2020

It is not news that Trump is a despicable person and an imbecile. The newsworthy part of this is that Anthony Delcollo and Mike Ramone are still big Trump supporters.

  1. AP reports that the Administration knew back in 2019. Gee, I wonder who leaked THIS story (Ready when you are, JB):

Also, can they get their story straight? Trump called the bounty story fake news, now they’re ‘verifying’ it? At least FIVE MONTHS AFTER intelligence sources told Trump about the Russian bounties? There is no defense for this. Certainly not ‘He doesn’t read.’

This story’s big, and it has legs. The Trump Administration reaction?: “Who leaked this?” When in doubt, go after the leakers.

There could be video of him being told and laughing about it. It wouldn’t move the needle one tick. Stop thinking the gop will ever abandon daddy.

I’m seeing reports that one of the marines killed for bounty was from Newark, Delaware.

I thought Putin and Trump were supposed to be buddies. That’s the narrative isn’t it? Not a very nice way to treat your friend if this story is true.

A Russian state sanction to assassinate US troops seems pretty far fetched.

    • jason330 says:

      Buddies? Trump is Putin’s bitch.

That has always been the narrative, and has always been the truth.

    • Alby says:

Yes, I’m sure your wide experience in national security matters makes your opinion a lot closer to the truth than that of people who have devoted their careers to it.

What the fuck do you know about what’s “far-fetched”? No offense, I generally enjoy your take on things, but Jesus, what’s far-fetched about it? I don’t find it the least bit surprising. This is only a story because Trump has done what he does best — nothing.

      • Jason330 says:

I will say this. He at least tries to keep his Trump lunacy covered up a bit. Typical Trumpers can’t wait to turn their Trump lunacy up to 11. That’s why we have so few Trumpers left.

      • RSE says:

What purpose would it serve for the Russians to hire people to kill American troops in Afghanistan? So we will want to get out of there? Trump already wants to get out of Afghanistan.

I’m thinking if it’s true, it’s probably an isolated unsanctioned case involving a minimal payment to someone who probably would have done it for free.

        • Ben says:

how does putin’s ass hole taste?

        • puck says:

They might have been volunteers, like in Crimea.

        • Alby says:

Your inability to figure out the benefit to Russia does not mean there’s no benefit to Russia. It means you don’t have very much information, because nobody does. Yet but seem to have no hesitation about forming a conclusion — one that just happens to allow you to wave the whole thing away as nothing to be concerned about.

Flip this around, keeping in mind that they apparently have traced the money involved — why wouldn’t the Russians do it? If they’ll fuck with our elections, they’ll certainly fuck with our troops, and all this cost is money — they correctly judged that Trump wouldn’t make a peep.

If nothing else, they owe us one for funding the Taliban against them back when they were the idiots stuck in a land war in Asia against religious extremists.
