I have voted Republican in every presidential election since 1980, including voting for Donald Trump in 2016. I wrote op-eds and a law review article protesting what I believe was an unconstitutional investigation by Robert Mueller. I also wrote an op-ed opposing President Trump’s impeachment.
But I am frankly appalled by the president’s recent tweet seeking to postpone the November election. Until recently, I had taken as political hyperbole the Democrats’ assertion that President Trump is a fascist. But this latest tweet is fascistic and is itself grounds for the president’s immediate impeachment again by the House of Representatives and his removal from office by the Senate.

why should trump run ads of any kind? those who are going to vote for him will vote for him and not flip. they are a guaranteed electorate. plus he’ll keep tweeting and his minions will re-tweet and so forth. Biden is the one who has to continue to run ads and be out there. Nor becuase of those who are deciding who to vote for, but those who are deciding whether to vote at all
If that were true he wouldn’t have been running ads for months already.

He also ran interference for Joe DeJohn and a couple others in the district office when they pulled a minor-league Wendell Howell impersonation spending district bucks on expensive cameras and other non-educational goodies.
Per Ralph Ackerman don’t temp teachers to quit because a great many probably are contemplating just that. Have not checked recent figures but in the past 50% of those who take up the profession leave the field at some point, and if your thinking about leaving now is arguably the time to do it. Not all that hard to see a teacher shortage coming.
